Architect / Project Architect
We are seeking creative, energetic team players who are passionate about design to grow our multi-studio practice. Candidates must be graduates of accredited architecture programs with 3-10 years of experience and licensure in process or completed. Professional growth opportunities are available in our aviation, academic, civic/cultural, lifestyle, and workplace studios. Strong communication skills and a sound working knowledge of architecture principles are essential.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely, on a day-to-day basis, with the project designer, project manager, and other team members
  • Developing project documents during the design, bidding, and construction phases
  • Coordinating the drawing work of the design team
  • Coordinating the efforts of the specialized consultants
  • Communicating the project related issues and decisions to the client
  • Assisting with project presentations to the client and others as required
  • Meeting established project budgets and schedules
  • Implementing the project quality control measures
  • Coordinating with the construction team, on a day-to-day basis, during the construction phase of the project
  • Effectively utilizing technical software and graphic tools; with required proficiency in Revit, some knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD, and competence in Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Participating in firm-sponsored training and professional development activities
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders through flexible work arrangements

 

Architect, Visual (multiple openings)
Duties:
Responsible for participating, under the direct supervision of a senior licensed architect, in the design of architectural projects, including: preparing detailed drawings of the architectural features of buildings according to client customization requirements and specifications; researching and evaluating each project context, including site, surrounding buildings and urban planning; evaluating specific projects in their context of relevant local, state, and federal regulations for the protection of public health, safety and welfare; evaluating, reconciling and coordinating applicable regulatory requirements and professional design standards; developing graphic and written conceptual design solutions for client approval; refining project schematic designs according to architectural and engineering practices, and selecting proper materials; selecting structural, mechanical, electrical and other systems for their integration into the building design by coordinating with civil, structural, electrical, mechanical and other specialized consultants; preparing written and graphic instructions used for construction of the project; analyzing and selecting building materials and systems for projects; facilitating project communication and maintaining project records; observing construction for conformance with drawings and specifications. Utilizes the following architectural design software: Autodesk (Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD), Adobe (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), SketchUp, V-Ray, Enscape for Autodesk Revit and SketchUp, Lumion and Twinmotion. Responsible for creating architectural workflows by collectively integrating the architectural design software and training architectural staff on the software use and application; modeling and rendering troubleshooting; assisting staff in the execution of visualization tasks; creating and purchasing content data for model libraries; developing videos, images, and virtual reality demonstrations for design meetings and marketing; investigating new technologies and integrating them into the architectural design workflow.

 

Requires Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and three years of architectural experience.

 

Degree must be obtained from a National Architectural Accredited Board (NAAB) accredited university. Must be a licensed as an architect.

 

Must have 3 years of experience in:

  • The use of the architectural design software: Autodesk (Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD), Adobe (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), SketchUp, V-Ray, Enscape for Autodesk Revit and SketchUp, Lumion and Twinmotion
  • The applied use of sustainable design knowledge
  • Aptitude for design and design representation in prior work

 

Must have a demonstrated ability to collectively integrate all of the above listed applications together.
 

Interior Designer
We are seeking a creative, energetic interior designer who is passionate about design to join our multi-studio practice. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited interior design program with a minimum of 5 years of experience. NCIDQ certification desired. Professional growth opportunities are available in multiple practice areas.

 

Our interior designers work in conjunction with the project team; establishing design concepts and creatively solving functional, finish, and spatial project requirements. Interior designer involvement continues throughout the project duration to conceive and evolve the interior design. Strong communication skills and the effective use of graphic and visualization tools are essential. Participation in business development activities and design presentations in collaboration with other project leaders is likely.

 

The Interior Designer will have the day-to-day responsibility for the interior design aspects of the project including:

  • Communicate design issues and decisions related to the project
  • Participate in project presentations to the client and others as required
  • Work closely, on a day-to-day basis, with the design lead, senior interior designer, and other team members
  • Develop and document the programming and space planning requirements
  • Research, select, and integrate appropriate finish and material selections that comprise the overall design palette of the project
  • Research, select, and specify appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the project and assist the client with the procurement
  • Develop and review the interior design aspects of the project throughout all phases of the project
  • Meet established project budgets and schedules
  • Effectively utilize technical software and graphic tools with required proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Participate in firm-sponsored training and professional development activities
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders through flexible work arrangements

 

Required Experience:

  • Primary business development experience within the A &E industry.
  • 5-10+ years of relevant business development experience in higher education, science & technology, workplace, civic & community, and environmental learning market sectors.
  • Ability to travel to a regional territory of states along with overnight stays.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Collaborative and able to work with a wide spectrum of personalities. Comfortable in both leader and team-player roles.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed with outstanding written and oral communication abilities and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

 

Lab Planner
We are looking for an experienced Lab Planner with Life Science, Pharma, Food, and Medical Device experience to lead the definition, analysis, programming and planning efforts for Science + Technology projects. Candidates must have minimum 8 years of experience in the architectural field with Life Science, Pharma, Food, and Medical Device experience, graduate of an accredited architecture program and licensure in process or completed.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely, on a day-to-day basis, with the project designer, project manager, and other team members
  • Act collaboratively regarding architectural methods and practices
  • Supervise and guide team members concerning overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and quality control
  • Coordinate and direct the design documentation with the design team
  • Communicate the project related issues and decisions to the client
  • Assist with project presentations to the client and others as required
  • Coordinate and direct the efforts of the specialized consultants
  • Demonstrate competence in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Meet established project budgets and schedules
  • Participate in and contribute to firm-sponsored training and professional development activities
  • May participate in marketing efforts, including proposal development, presentations, and client interviews

 

Senior Architect and Planner Semi-Conductor/High Tech
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect and Planner with High Tech and Semi-Conductor experience who has designed and developed medium to large scale manufacturing and production projects involving client contact and leadership responsibilities. Candidate will have a minimum of 10 years architectural experience with high tech, semiconductor and/or electrical technology and graduate of an accredited architectural program with licensure in progress or completed.

 

Primary Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely, on a day-to-day basis, with the project designer, project manager, and other team members
  • Collaborate with team regarding architectural methods and practices
