Amy Sonbuchner AIA, LEED AP

Amy has worked in architecture since 1998, when she landed a student summer internship at a Chicago architecture firm. At Alliiance, she is a Senior Associate and project manager. Amy contributes to various firm-wide initiatives while specializing in aviation planning. An effective multitasker and clear communicator, she is well-known for remaining even keeled and good-humored even as deadlines loom and challenges arise.

Amy is vice-chair of the Airport Consultants Council’s Terminal and Facilities committee and has participated in AIA Minnesota’s Leadership Forum. She serves on the board of a Twin Cities Toastmasters chapter and has for several years been involved in mentoring University of Minnesota architecture students. She and her husband have visited all seven continents and hope to share that love of travel with their two young children as they grow up.
