Jens excels as a project architect and project manager on a broad spectrum of projects types since joining Alliiance in 1996. A major focus of his work is on aviation projects with a specialty in airport restrooms. Since 2010, Jens has been responsible for the development and implementation of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport restroom prototype and restroom replacement program (voted America’s Best Restroom in 2016 by Cintas). He has led to similar projects at other airports across the country. He has presented findings of equitable and inclusive airport restroom design best practices at several national conferences and in published articles including three guidebooks for the Airports Cooperative Research Program (ACRP).
